Meet your guide.

Growing up in eastern Pennsylvania with family who loved fly fishing I've been fortunate enough to catch the fly fishing bug at an early age. My fondest memories have been unboxing tying materials at the kitchen table, trying on my first pair of waders, and of course feeling the pull of a trout on the end of my fly line. Fast forward a few years and I'm still that little kid wondering what's beyond that next bend and if trout will be sipping mayflies and slashing caddis tonight.

Most of my fly fishing has been close to home in the Pocono Mountains however I've spent a lot of time on the Upper Delaware River system as well as the Catskill and Adirondack Mountains. Other locations I've fished include Montana on the Madison, Jefferson, Gallatin, and Yellowstone Rivers and hunting for bonefish on the salt flats in Grand Cayman. My plan is to extend this list throughout the decades with the company of my family and friends.

Before becoming a fishing guide I studied at Bloomsburg University for my B.S. in Environmental Geosciences. After graduation I started my career as an environmental planner performing stream studies on many of Monroe counties freestone streams. During these studies I recorded water chemistry data, habitat analysis readings, and collected macro invertibrate (trout food!) samples annually. These studies helped pour the foundation of my knowledge of the trout streams here in the Poconos. After a few years of environmental work I pursued another passion of mine which is photography. Since 2017 I’ve been a professional photographer in conjunction with being a fishing guide. It’s quite the combination, but I love it!

I'm still living in eastern PA with my beautiful family. My wife Teresa also enjoys time on the water and my two little boys are still in the chuck rocks in the water phase. I'm just happy they like being outside and going to the stream! I've always had a love for watching someone's excitement as they hook into a ghostly trout on a beautiful mountain stream. It's more rewarding then catching a fish myself because I'm able to share that experience with others. My goal is to bring that joy and fly fishing knowledge to as many excited anglers as possible. I want my clients to end the day with fish in the net and a better understanding of how to catch these beautiful trout with a fly rod. See you on the stream!
